Balanced weave stainless steel wire mesh conveyor belt
Balanced weave belts are the most commonly used belts across process industries — food processing, glass, ceramic and metal working. Left-hand and right-hand spirals are linked together with a crimped cross rod.
Because the stresses on both sides are evenly balanced, the belt runs smooth and straight with minimal expansion along its length or width and very little tendency to creep to either side of the drive pulley.
Alternating left-hand and right-hand spirals joined by crimped cross rods. The balanced construction keeps the belt tracking straight.
Width, length, wire diameter, mesh, material and edge finish are made to your requirement. Available edges: Welded edge, Bent edge, Chain edge. See belt edge types.

Belt specification R-X : A-B-C-D. R-X is the belt type.
Industries: Food Processing & Freezing, Glass & Ceramic Tiles, Heat Treatment & Industrial, Biscuit & Bakery
Belt life depends on correct installation and break-in, conveyor alignment and condition, load and load concentration, operating temperature and contaminants. Keep the conveyor aligned, avoid concentrated loads, and inspect edges and joints regularly.
R-3 to R-6 types suit light loads, R-16 to R-18 medium loads and R-19 heavy-duty loads. Share your product size, load and temperature and we will recommend a specification.
R-16 is the belt type; the numbers describe spirals per foot of width, cross rods per foot of length and wire diameters. See the 'How to read the code' table above.
Yes — stainless grades such as AISI 304 and 316 are standard, with heat-resisting grades for higher temperatures.
Fill in what you know — fields adjust to this belt type. You can attach a drawing or a photo of your existing belt.
